BOOKINGS & BOOKING ENQUIRIES — we collect a variety of information to help us fulfil the obligations of our contract with you to provide you with the services we offer. This information may include such things as: your name, address and contact information including phone and email; names of your guests plus any dietary and medical information (e.g. allergies) that you may share with us.
INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT — we do not collect and keep payment information such as credit card data. We process your card payments directly into third party services, either online or over the phone, and do not ever retain records of your data on our own systems.
How we store, process and retain your personal information
The information you provide is stored as securely as we can. We use a variety of third party services to store and process your data, such as our website provider (Squarespace) and email services, as well as backup services which may be both onsite and offsite.
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:
(A) your consent which we ask when collecting your information and which you may remove at any time by contacting us using the information on this page;
(B) we have a contractual obligation to fulfil the service we have offered you;

We retain the information you provide for as short a time as possible depending on the business requirement and any statutory requirements we have, for example tax records and reporting.
Your name and email provided for newsletters and updates will be retained unless and until you unsubscribe from our marketing lists. An unsubscribe link is included in all our mailings.
Your booking information will be stored for a period of 6 years for our tax records
The dietary, medical and guest details gathered for any service we have offered will normally be deleted within 1 year of the date we deliver our services to you.
